Camera
In order to move your cursor we rely on your camera stream to detect hand gestures.
Cursorly is committed to privacy and we never record or store the video stream from your camera. Everything happens and remains on your computer. To ensure full transparency, we have open-sourced our codebase.
The parts that deal with your camera will continue to be developed in public and we invite you to provide feedback.
More details can be found in our privacy policy.
To use Cursorly your computer or laptop needs to have a camera.
On camera positioning
For best results, please face the camera directly when showing gestures. Your palms should also be facing the camera. If your camera is recording from the side or palms are not captured by the camera, Cursorly will not work as expected.
For best results, please face the camera directly when showing gestures (👐).
Please ensure that you are in a well lit room when using Cursorly.
Due to lack of light (especially during night) Cursorly may not be able to recognize a gesture.
